The World-Class Vineyard Experience at Home
Bring the prestige of global winemaking to your estate or garden with our premium Merlot Wine Grape Vines. Highly prized for its lush, deep blue-to-black berries, Merlot is one of the world's most popular and versatile grape varieties. Whether you are looking to experiment with home viticulture or simply want a stunning, high-yield climbing vine to drape over a pergola, fence, or trellis, this robust variety delivers both beauty and flavor.
Our vines boast strong, established root systems that adapt beautifully to sun-drenched spaces, producing heavy, elegant clusters of juicy, thin-skinned grapes that are perfect for fresh snacking, artisanal juices, or crafting a smooth, velvety home vintage.
Quick Care Guide
Grapes are incredibly resilient once established. Follow these steps to maximize your canopy growth and fruit yields:
Light: Requires full sun. Plant your vine in the sunniest spot available, ensuring it gets at least 7 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily to sweeten the fruit.
Water: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Once established, grapevines are remarkably drought-tolerant; water moderately, allowing the soil to dry between sessions.
Support & Pruning: Provide a strong trellis, wire support, or pergola for the vine to climb. Heavy pruning in late winter (while the vine is dormant) is essential to stimulate high-quality fruit production for the next season.
Soil: Thrives in loose, gritty, and exceptionally well-draining soil. Grapes prefer deep, loamy, or gravelly soils and dislike sitting in heavy, stagnant clay.
